Your Leader in the Utility Industry
Directional Construction or horizontal directional drilling is a trenchless method of installing underground pipes, conduits and cables by using drilling rig from the surface, with little or no impact on the surrounding area.
Directional boring is used when trenching or excavating is not practical. In such cases where the land is developed after new services need to be installed, or used for crossing waterways, roadways, shore approaches, congested areas, environmentally sensitive areas, and areas where other methods are costlier.
These installed services include:
· Telecommunications & Power Cable Conduits
· Water Lines
· Sewer Lines
· Gas Lines
· Oil Lines
· Product Pipelines
Directional Boring is used instead of other techniques to provide: · Less Traffic Disruption · Lower Cost · Deeper and/or Longer Installation · No Access Pit · Shorter Completion Times · Environmental Safety · Road · Landscape · River Crossings
